In Ukraine, the heads of two recruitment centres near Kiev have been detained for accepting bribes in exchange for exempting conscripts. The news website Ukrainska Pravda reported that during searches of offices and apartments in the suburbs of Bucha and Boryspil, bundles of money were discovered and confiscated. The heads of the recruitment centres and their accomplices had reportedly collected a total of around $1 million for their services.
