Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra: what we know so far
Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 has recently received an FCC certificate. This indicates support for 15W wireless charging. This is a significant improvement over the previous Galaxy Watch model, which had a charging speed of only 10 watts. The smartwatch will come with Wi-Fi and optional LTE connectivity options.
Earlier it was reported that the Galaxy Watch 7 will be equipped with a 3nm Exynos chip and, according to some reports, will offer a 20 percent increase in energy efficiency and performance compared to the Galaxy Watch 6. The basic memory of the smartwatch will be increased to 32 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra may be available in a single 47 mm size only. It can be equipped with a 590 mAh battery, which should provide an impressive power reserve compared to standard models. It is rumored to have a titanium (Grade 4) case and a sapphire crystal display that will support peak brightness of up to 3,00 nits.
The Ultra model is available with 10ATM+ IP68 dust and water protection. There may be a new shortcut button for specific tasks. The Ultra variant may be available in models with cellular and Bluetooth support.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra will not be the only new product in Samsung’s watch lineup this year, as the company has just announced a new variant of the Galaxy Watch FE.
