Turkey cancelled the environmental licences of a gold mine in the country’s east after nine workers were buried in a landslide earlier this week. The Energy and Environmental Ministry cancelled permissions and certificates for the Çöpler mine in Erzincan province, state news agency Anadolu reported on Saturday.
