Dramatic pictures show the aftermath of a plane crash thatled to a pilot being taken to hospital. The light aircraft came down in a wooded area in Rochester Road near Walderslade, between the Bridgewood Roundabout and Laker Road. Police attended the scene shortly before 12.30pm on Wednesday after the four-seater Piper PA-28 crashed. Two fire engines and ambulance crews also attended. The only occupant of the plane, the pilot, was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital for further medical treatment. The aircraft had taken off from Lydd Airport and was on its way to Rochester Airport.
