Ukrainian authorities have detained more than 60 people in over 200 drug raids in the country, the Interior Ministry said on Thursday. “This is how the fight against illegal drug trafficking should be: systematic and primarily targeting those who supply the drugs,” Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said in a statement. According to the statement, the raids uncovered 19 drug laboratories with a monthly production of almost one ton of amphetamines and monthly profits worth over $7.6 million. Sales of the drugs were organized via messaging services, it said.
