A stricken Greek-flagged oil tanker, which had caught fire in the Red Sea, was successfully towed to safety nearly a month after it was attacked by Yemen’s Houthi rebels. The EU naval mission Aspides said late Monday that the tanker Sounion was moved to a secure area under its protection, with no oil leaks reported. Aspides said it was taking all necessary measures to prevent an environmental disaster.
