Tokyo stocks opened lower Friday, as investors sold a wide range of issues after Wall Street ended down overnight following the erasure of earlier gains. In the first 15 minutes of trading, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average fell 345.43 points, or 0.89 percent, from Thursday to 38,574.83. The broader Topix index was down 11.20 points, or 0.41 percent, at 2,726.34. On the top-tier Prime Market, decliners were led by precision instrument, securities house and service shares.
