A 3.8-magnitude earthquake hit overnight near San Bernardino County in Southern California, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. The approximately 8-mile-deep quake hit about 2 miles southeast of Ontario, about 40 miles east of Los Angeles, at 11:38 p.m on Thursday, Feb. 15, according to USGS.
