Drivers are facing delays on the M2 this afternoon after a lorry began to lose its load. It happened just before 11.30am on the coastbound entry slip of the road, at Junction 5 near the Stockbury roundabout. The junction has been closed and the HGV, which was carrying timber, has been moved to the hard shoulder. A crane has now secured the load. A National Highways spokesperson said: “Further work needs to take place to safely reposition the timber, and we expect the entry slip road to be closed until late afternoon.
