At Lei Jun’s fifth annual speech on July 9 at 19:00, Xiaomi will unveil a number of new products, including Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, Xiaomi Mix Flip, Redmi K70 Ultra, and Xiaomi Smart Band 9.

Reportedly, the product will be released in a special ceramic version with a white ceramic body. The Band 9 band has a woven texture. A company spokesperson said: “By waving your hand and raising your wrist, you can show your fashion personality.”
The Smart Band 9 features an upgraded monitoring module that is claimed to offer an increase in sleep and heart rate monitoring accuracy of 7.9% and 16% respectively. Vibration feedback has also been improved and now supports up to 20 vibration modes, covering 25+ usage scenarios.
In addition to all this, the company also claims 21 days of battery life. For comparison, the previous model lasted 16 days on battery power.
To give you a clearer idea of what to expect from the new product, here’s a brief overview of its predecessor. Smart Band 8 is equipped with a 1.62-inch screen with a peak brightness of 600 nits, automatic brightness control, and a pixel density of 326ppi. The price of the device is 239 yuan.
