A suspected oil spill in a river is causing a city to “stink of diesel”. The “slick” was spotted in the River Stour in Canterbury city centre this morning. Kayleigh Gogerly took a video showing a rainbow sheen on the water outside the Marlowe Theatre at around 9.20am. She has reported it to the Environment Agency (EA).
