By Steven White A British holidaymaker received a nasty surprise after she was bitten by a venomous snake while on holiday in Cyprus celebrating her 40th birthday. Sam West, from Shifnal in Shropshire, ended up in intensive care after sitting down to take part in a meditation session and was attacked by a blunt nosed viper on April 3.
