Two car parks are continuing to experience problems with their pay machines. Yesterday (Tuesday), we reported that five car parks across West Berkshire were affected by a “technical issue”. Residents had been complaining for several days that the pay on foot machines were not working at a number of car parks and West Berkshire Council confirmed that four in Newbury and one in Hungerford had problems which meant the pay-on-foot options, using cash or card, could not be taken. Parking could only be paid for by phone, but some motorists have said they have struggled to get that system to work too…
