A court in the German city of Stuttgart on Wednesday sentenced a former businessman from the south-western state of Saarland to six years and nine months in prison for the illegal delivery of drone components to Russia. The goods had a military use, the criminal division ruled. The man’s co-defendant from the state of Baden-Württemberg was given a suspended sentence of 21 months for aiding and abetting.
