Adding fuel to Japanese reports that the Nissan X-Trail will score a plug-in hybrid version, the brand’s US arm has announced it will sell a PHEV version of its Rogue equivalent in the US. US-based Car and Driver reports Nissan will add a PHEV variant to the Rogue line-up next year, where it will compete against plug-in versions of the Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage, BYD Sealion 6 and Toyota RAV4 Prime.
