Large amounts of snow and strong winds in southern Scandinavia have led to chaos, traffic gridlock and a halt to some transportation on Wednesday morning, the NTB agency reported. In several cities in south-east Norway – including the capital Oslo – all bus services were halted. Several schools in the area were also closed because pupils and teachers were unable to reach them due to the difficult weather conditions.
