The deceased head of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Neophyte, was buried on Saturday after a funeral procession in Sofia. Prior to this, the ecumenical patriarch of Constantinople, Bartholomew I, presided over a funeral Mass in the Saint Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in the centre of the capital.
