The multibillion-euro contract for the construction of new nuclear power plants in the Czech Republic has been awarded to a South Korean company. Speaking after a Cabinet meeting in Prague on Wednesday, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala announced that the Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) Group had emerged as the winner of the tender.
