Wine consumption in Germany has fallen by more than one bottle of wine per person over the course of a year, according to a new report from the German Wine Institute (DWI) on Wednesday. The report found that annual wine consumption fell from 19.9 litres to 19.2 litres per person between August 2022 to the end of July 2023 compared to the same period in the previous year.
