Museums in a village are hosting free events to mark National Storytelling Week. The Walks of Life Museum and War Museum of the Horse in Tuxford are hosting the events on January 27 and February 4 respectively. Keith Betts will tell the Mining Ghost story at the Walks of Life Museum, talking about his personal experience of working on the mines in Tuxford and encountering the ghost. He will also enlighten visitors on several facts about the mining industry as well as about accidents and disasters that happened throughout the years.
