OnePlus has unveiled the Watch 2R, its latest smartwatch with a lighter design and many of the attractive features found in the OnePlus Watch 2.

It has an aluminum body that significantly reduces the weight, making it more comfortable to wear (59g compared to 80g). The Watch 2R includes key features such as Wear OS with a Snapdragon W5 processor and an optional proprietary RTOS. The 1.43-inch AMOLED display provides excellent visibility with a peak brightness of 1000 nits. Users can manage alerts, messages and calls directly on the watch.
A notable feature is 32 GB of memory, which allows you to download music from services such as YouTube Music and Spotify offline. The smartwatch can also connect to headphones via Bluetooth, which is convenient during workouts, as users do not need to switch tracks on their phones.
For fitness enthusiasts, the smartwatch features Android’s Health Connect function, which provides centralized data management. In addition, Google Health Connect and Strava synchronization is now integrated, which improves fitness tracking. Over 100 sport modes are supported, and the built-in GPS ensures accurate tracking. The watch is water resistant with a 5ATM and IP68 rating, making it suitable for a variety of activities including swimming.
The battery life is impressive, offering up to 100 hours in Smart mode and 12 days in power saving mode. The 500 mAh battery is fully charged in just one hour using 7.5W VOOC fast charging.

The OnePlus Watch 2R is available in Forest Green and Gunmetal Gray colors for Rs. 17,999 and will be available at major online retailers such as Amazon.in, Flipkart, Myntra, and OnePlus stores starting July 20 in India.
In other markets, the OnePlus Watch 2R will cost £249 / €279 / $229.99.
