Environmental expert and campaigner Bob Reed will give a talk on the history of Pishiobury Park next week. Bob is chairman of the friends of the park off Harlow Road, Sawbridgeworth and headed a long-running campaign to secure local nature reserve status for the much-loved landmark. The talk, being hosted by Sawbridgeworth Local History Society, is on Thursday (Jan 25) at The Hailey Centre, Bell Street and starts at 7.30pm.
