A fresh era has begun at a village watering hole, with its new landlords keen to use their experience of turning around struggling pubs to create a community destination. Jay Evans and Dan Wagg – veteran publicans with 20 years of industry experience – kicked off their joint tenancy at the Maldon Grey in Great Cornard at the start of the year.
