Fresh off their debut just nine short weeks ago, the Newark Rugby Club’s women’s team was back in action as they hosted the Allianz Inner Warrior Series. The tournament held at Kelham Road saw Belper, Market Bosworth, and Long Eaton take part. The Inner Warrior league is the first step to playing organised rugby in the women’s game, and Newark did not look out of place despite their relative inexperience.
