Two golf club captains have raised a massive £28,000 during their reign. Norwood Park Golf Club’s Jane Parks and Paddy Whur have now presented the cheques to their chosen charities. A total of £17,000 was raised for Beaumond House Hospice Care and £10,000 for Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance — with a stellar fundraising effort made by Paddy and his wife, vice captain Jacquie Whur.
