A choral society’s summer concert is set to fill a cathedral with the music of famed composers. Southwell Choral Society’s Summer Serenade 2024 will feature works by Brahms and Mendelssohn, as well as spirituals and folksongs. It will be conducted by Marcus Farnsworth, and performed by the choir of Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass singers in The Nave of the historic Southwell Minster. The concert will be held on Saturday, June 22, from 2pm. Tickets are available from members or the Cathedral Shop, on 01636 812933. One under 16 can attend for free with each paying adult.
