Alloy Ejimakor, lead counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has demanded for “fair hearing safeguards” for his client. Ejimakor said his condition should be met before Kanu’s trial for terrorism begins. Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court had fixed May 20, 2024, to decide Kanu’s bail.
