A road has been closed after a fire ripped through a house covered in scaffolding. Six fire engines were called to a property Grange Road in Gillingham during the early hours of this morning. The road has been closed between Woodlands Road and Hazlemere Drive. A fire service spokesperson confirmed crews were called to the scene at 1.48am and left at 5.28am.
