Tomorrow, Xiaomi will unveil the Xiaomi Mix Flip, the company’s first foldable flip phone. Yesterday, the brand confirmed key details such as the chipset, battery size, and design of the device. Today, the brand has released the following poster to confirm the outer screen size as well as the associated specifications.
Main characteristics of Xiaomi Mix Flip
According to Xiaomi, the Mix Flip features a 4.01-inch external display with a 1.5K resolution and 1600 nits of global brightness. The cover display has flat bezels and curved edges on all four sides. It is protected by a layer of Xiaomi’s Dragon Crystal Glass.
The outer screen of Xiaomi Mix Flip stands out thanks to a special speaker and microphone located just above the top bezel. This allows Mix Flip users to make calls without opening the device. The larger external screen supports a full-size keyboard for easy typing. In addition, the display offers smart partitions, full-screen photography, and other smart features, making it not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing.
According to other reports, Xiaomi Mix Flip is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 4780 mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
The Mix Flip is said to have a 50-megapixel (main) + 60-megapixel (2x telephoto) dual camera setup on the back. It is expected to be available in three colors: black, white, and purple. There is currently no information on the price of the device.
Tomorrow’s event will also feature other Xiaomi devices, such as Mix Fold 4, Watch S4 Sport, Smart Band 9 bracelet, and Buds 5 TWS headphones.
