Florian Wirtz has quickly overcome an ankle injury and will be part of Bayer Leverkusen’s squad for their Bundesliga match against in-form Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday. Coach Xabi Alonso told reporters on Friday that Wirtz has recovered from a capsular injury in his right ankle he sustained while playing for Germany on Monday in a 1-0 victory over the Netherlands.
