Three teenagers have been charged after police witnessed a suspected “drug deal” taking place. Officers were in Fort Pitt Street in Chatham when they saw two people taking part in what appeared to be a suspicious activity. A 17-year-old boy was arrested after he had been searched and officers found him in possession of what is believed to be a quantity of heroin. A further search of a nearby property led police to find further drugs and a large quantity of money. Two men inside the property were also arrested.
