Motorola is preparing to launch its new Razr 50 series in China on June 25. In a recent teaser on X, the brand also confirmed that the world debut of these folding phones will also happen on June 25. Here’s what customers can expect from the Razr 50 series.
Key features of the Motorola Razr 50 series
The Razr 50 Ultra will feature a 4-inch wide display on the lid and a 6.9-inch internal display, both of which use OLED technology. This upgrade replaces the previous LTPO AMOLED displays used in previous models. The main display has a resolution of 1272×1080 pixels.
The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and will be available with RAM options from 8 GB to 18 GB and storage from 128 GB to 1 TB. It will also have a 3800 mAh battery.
As for the cameras, the Razr 50 Ultra will have two 50-megapixel rear sensors and a 32-megapixel front camera.
The standard Motorola Razr 50, on the other hand, will also have a 6.9-inch internal display and a smaller 3.6-inch external display, both using OLED technology. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset.
This model will have 50-megapixel and 13-megapixel rear cameras, as well as a 32-megapixel front camera. The 4200 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support is designed for long-lasting use and fast recharging.
