The owner of a heavy garden ornament, stolen from Bishop’s Stortford, is ready to offer a reward for its return. The metal plinth and urn, used as a planter, was pinched from a home in Hadham Road sometime between 4pm on Friday, September 13, and 8am the next day. The householder told theIndie the silver-coloured ornament was around 1.2m (4ft) high and would have required at least two people to move. He said it was worth hundreds of pounds and was willing to offer a reward for information leading to its return. Witnesses should contact Hertfordshire Constabulary online at herts.police.uk/repor…
