A surprise duo have been appointed as Ashford United’s interim management team. The Isthmian South East Nuts & Bolts moved quickly to name Alan Walker as their new boss until the end of the season,Kevin Watson having left after their 1-0 weekend home win against Littlehampton. Former Gillingham and Sittingbourne defender Walker, who hasn’t been in management since 2010, will be assisted by ex-Dover coach Darren Hare.
