Police are continuing to investigate an alleged incident of a man hitting his dog outside a Diss shop on Friday. Officer were called to Victoria Road, at around 3.15pm on Friday to a report that a man had hit his dog whilst outside a store. Following this incident, the man and a member of the public were reported to have had a verbal altercation in which the man was said to have used homophobic language.
