Women and girls in homeless facilities will get free access to menstrual products under a new law mandating shelters to stock tampons, sanitary napkins and panty liners for their tenants. Gov. Phil Murphy signed into law Tuesday the New Jersey Feminine Hygiene Products for the Homeless Act, a bill that lingered in the state Legislature since early 2022.
