Two volunteers have done their part in cleaning up a village by collecting a huge amount of rubbish. This week, Collingham parish counciilor, Steve Blagg, and local resident, Phil Salathiel, were out picking up litter from verges just outside of Collingham Village. In just a short distance they managed to collect seven bags of rubbish between them. Steve decided something needed to be done after he noticed the amount of litter on the verges when cycling from Collingham to Swinderby one day. He enlisted the help of Phil who is a regular litter picker in the area.
