The French Council of State has cleared the way for the controversial disposal of toxic waste on the border with Germany, a regional French newspaper, Les Dernières Nouvelles d’Alsace (DNA), reported on Saturday. The judges overturned an urgent decision taken by the Strasbourg administrative court to stop the disposal. The Council of State ruled on Friday that there was no reason for an urgent ruling on the matter, the DNA reported.
