Train services are delayed between Reading and Newbury this morning (Thursday). This is due to a points failure between Reading and Newbury. All lines are currently blocked. Great Western Railway (GWR) said train services running to and from these stations may be delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 9am. Network Rail has attended and attempted rectification works. But they have not been successful. The 05:33 Bedwyn to London Paddington service will be forwarded to Reading where it will terminate.
