Uzbekistan’s major taxpayers paid approximately Uzbekistani som (UZS) 17 trillion ($1.35bn) to the state in the first two months of this year, according to official data published by the economy and finance ministry. The tax amount was collected from from 2,186 large taxpayers. The top 10 state sector taxpayers contributed UZS 8.7 trillion ($694mn) of the sum.
