Tokyo stocks opened higher Wednesday as exporters were lifted by a weaker yen, while technology issues tracked overnight gains by their U.S. counterparts. In the first 15 minutes of trading, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average rose 435.72 points, or 1.20 percent, from Tuesday to 36,638.94.
