Severe flooding in south-western Poland has now reached the region near the city of Wrocław, according to the General Staff of the Polish army. In the small town of Oława, home to 33,000 residents and located about 26 kilometres south-east of Wrocław, the water level of the Oder river rose by one and a half metres overnight, the General Staff said Wednesday in a post on X.
