Residents at a local care home donned their blue suede shoes for a day of music and dancing to celebrate what would have been the 89th birthday of Elvis Presley. Hickathrift House Care Home in Marshland St James was transformed into Graceland to mark the King of rock and roll’s special day earlier this month. It is estimated that Elvis has sold over one billion records worldwide so to honour the undisputed King, the staff and residents enjoyed a fantastic day of music, fun and dancing.
