Armed police swooped on a home in a dramatic raid which closed a residential street. Six officers were seen entering a house in Godinton Road, Ashford, at about 4pm. Residents say drones were flying overhead and police dogs were brought in as officers targeted the property. Police closed Godinton Road between the junctions for James Street and Western Avenue, but the road reopened at about 5.30pm. Two officers are still guarding the house, which sits at the junction with Western Avenue. KentOnline has contacted police for comment. More as we get it
