Read about this and more opportunities for the Ukrainian web3 market below.

What is Solana Radar Hackathon by Colosseum?

Solana hackathons at Colosseum are unique competitions aimed at attracting as many promising web3 projects as possible to the ecosystem at the early stages. The Solana ecosystem is ready to reward teams from all over the world with cash prizes in various categories and provide media support. But the main goal of the organizers is to grow a successful business.

To do this, Colosseum will select 15 participants from among 39 hackathon winners for the acceleration program, where they will receive training, access to a unique network of mentors, and a seed investment of $250,000. Colosseum will also hold a demo day where teams will be able to present their projects to venture capital funds.

The hackathon format is online, registration is already open at:

Who can participate in the Solana hackathon?

“Hackathons of this type require project teams – blockchain developers who are familiar with Solana programming, frontend and backend developers to implement an application or website, designers to create a mockup, project and product managers, and marketers,” comments Mark Letsiuk, co-founder of the Ukrainian Solana hub Kumeka Team.

“It is recommended to submit both new projects and those that you have integrated or plan to integrate into the Solana ecosystem. The best way to do this is to conduct an engineering sprint to create a working demo.

Large cash prizes and many prize places

The total amount of prizes is $600,000 and 39 prize places, which is a very good chance to win. Last time, the Ukrainian project was nominated in the Gamedev track.

  • The grand champion will receive $50,000 and three passes to the Solana Breakpoint 2025 conference.
  • Five prizes in each of the seven tracks: Consumer, DeFi, Payments, DePIN, Gaming, Infrastructure, DAOs & Network States – from $5,000 to $25,000.
  • University Award – $10,000 for the best student team.
  • Public Goods Award – $10,000 for an open source project that benefits the entire ecosystem.
  • Climate Award – $5,000 for projects aimed at protecting the environment.
