The Princess of Wales, it was announced by Kensington Palace, had underwent the surgery today and will remain in hospital for “ten to 14 days” before returning home. She will remain there, surrounded by loved ones as she continues to recover and it is “unlikely” she’ll return to royal duties until after Easter.
