Lisa Vittozzi of Italy had a nightmare in the last women’s biathlon competition of the season in Canada on Sunday but still ended up as World Cup champion after her big rival failed to take advantage. Vittozzi had taken the yellow jersey from Norway’s Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold on Saturday after winning the 10-kilometre pursuit in Canmore having seized Thursday’s sprint.
