A Berlin court handed a 16-month sentence to a climate activist on Wednesday for her role in repeated protests that used paint and blocked roads. The court sitting in Tiergarten in central Berlin found the activist of the Last Generation group guilty of causing damage to property, resisting law enforcement officers and obstruction, a court spokeswoman said.
