Sweden’s accession to NATO is not directed at anyone, King Carl XVI Gustaf said as the alliance’s flag was hoisted in a ceremony in front of the parliament buildings in Stockholm on Monday. “Sweden does not threaten anyone. Sweden desires peace,” Carl Gustaf said.
