Thousands of homes and businesses across New Jersey are in the dark, with clusters of strong thunderstorms knocking down trees and power lines for the second consecutive day. NJ.com’s Power Outage Tracker, which monitors outage numbers from utility companies in the region, showed just over 9,300 utility customers across the Garden State without power as of 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
